Project Description
We’re building an electric-powered sofa, cause why not? Our goal is to design and build a custom vehicle frame, electrical components, and firmware. Then, we’re going to slap a couch on top and take it for a ride 😎

🏗️ Custom Mech Frame
Using 1-inch thickness steel bars, a cost-effective and weight-optimized sofa chassis was designed and manufactured.
- Features ergonomic braking and a fork steering mechanism
- The Speed Sofa boasted speeds of 20 km/h while maintaining structural integrity.
⚡ Electrical System
🔋 48V battery pack powers our in-hub motor.
🖥️ Display & Controls
📟 Displays speed and battery level on an embedded display.
🔄 Working on CAN communication between ESP32 and the display to increase reliability.
